Ok... After seeing someone I really love wondering WTF was going on and why things weren't working in a certain way, I am going to put this here, though keep in mind that some browsers will not support some of these, as well as some computers. (Mac V Windows)
So, for us dino's, it used to be <font style=""> But somewhere along the way, some askhole changed it up in html format, so it now needs to be done as <font face="">
HTML Safe Font Styles These are to help you pick a style that suits your personality. Keep in mind? The percentages at the bottom aren't bullshit. The lower the percentage, the higher the chances are that it wont work, and you'll frustrate yourself for no reason. Also? Some fonts come across as larger than others, simply due to style, so you may want to take it from a 3 to a 2, depending on your personal tastes.
To change the size it is <font size=> Now, personally? I have my name in 4, my tags in 2, and then my writing in 3. Again, depending on the font face you chose, your writing might come out larger than you expect, so some re-coding in needed.
To create a line break, there are two different ways, but I prefer the more simplistic one. One is <center> <center> and that is with a few spaces in the middle. Sometimes this works, sometimes it doesn't, as it depends on the site. Because of that, I prefer the simple <br> style, which is a line break in HTML format, so it keeps things nice and clean.
Example of a Perfectly Working Code in Frisco:
<center><font color=black><center>[Please... Don't Look At Me...]<center><img src=" galleries.roleplayevolution.com/SnappedBones/albums/userpics/10001/ViolcaConley2.jpg" align=left><center><font face="Century Gothic"><font color=774C45><font size=4>♪Violca Conley♪<center><font color=FDEFD4><font size=2>♫Seasons are Changing and Waves are Crashing♫<center>♫And Stars are Falling all for Us♫<center>♫Days Grow Longer and Nights Grow Shorter♫<center>♫I Can Show You. I’ll Be The One♫<center>[Silver Horn|Frisco:REVO]<Center><font size=3><font color=F9F1DA><center><br><br>
Now, what ARE those weird sets of numbers and pound signs?
That, my dear friends, is 'character map' code. Every computer has one, and if you want to know how to get your own set, just enter into the search area of your pc (NOT CORTINA!) and look for your Character Map program. If for what ever reason you can't find it, then follow the steps in This Link to get you on the way. Note: I realize this is for an older version of windows, but it should work for all, up to ten that I am aware of. If it doesn't? Then THIS LINK will take you to the best on line version of one I can find.
Happy Coding!
