It has come to our attention here at the Romance Rag that spring has come a little late! Romance is in the air and it's starting to bud desert cacti flowers all over the place... Now, we normally support all sorts of romance, after all who DOESN'T love a bit of the soft stuff? But we must say... We are more than a little surprised and... Perhaps a little... Displeased with the new romance that has been seen...
Aurelia DuPonte, employee of Judge Benjamin Kinkaid, and just returned to Frisco...
It was seen yesterday that she invited him into her house, sans chaperone, and after more than an hour within her house... He was seen leaving once more, and from what was related to us, the couple shared a passionate kiss! Now, we realize we are of a more relaxed nature in Frisco, we're all a little wild here... The Judge is a man of Standing! The lady in question is of his employ!
Are they officially courting? No one has heard the word, though many wonder if the Judge would ever try again, given his status as a widow of long standing. Has he asked to woo her? Or is our local Parisian simply expressing something that we are unaware of? After all, it is well known that Miss DuPonte has been well thought of in town, and we are perhaps... Willing to look the other way in regards to her improper behavior...
